History:
The Lord Nelson Hotel was built in October 1928, and is considered a legendary landmark in Halifax. • Classic Guest Room: Is about 275 sq. foot and consist of either two double beds or one Queen Bed. They have all the standard facilities that include a 32’’ LCD television, Internet connectivity and coffee services for free.
• Executive Club Service: is about 300 sq. foot, which have either a Queen Bed, or a king sized bed or two double beds. It also has all the standard services with the addition of an iPod docking station, evening turndown services, outstanding guest robe, bottled water and complimentary continental breakfast on the Mezzanine.
• Junior Suites: are about 350 sq. foot with either one king sized bed or two double beds. They have a seating area with luxurious sofas, and kitchen facilities such as microwave oven, dishes, room refrigerator and cutlery. They have all the standard room services along with the ones provided in Executive Club Service.
• Premier Suites: Is about 600 sq. foot and has a kind sized bed. They have oversized bathrooms to offer and a separate living area as well. Kitchen facilities include, room refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes and cutlery. These suites have all the standard services provided in the Executive Club Service.
• Victoria Suite: Just being the only one reflects the amount of luxury it holds in itself. It is one of a kind, with the ability to deal with ten people for accommodation. It has a separate living room with a full refrigerator with a big closet and a bar. There is a powder room near the bar that is linked with the sitting room with a flat screen television, and spacious sitting arrangement. In addition, it has a dining or to put it in other words, a meeting room with a fireplace and an opening to the astonishing Halifax Public Gardens. There is a master bedroom with sliding frosted glass doors, with an attached oversized bathroom.
• Petite Rooms: They are the most cost efficient rooms present in the hotel for the budget conscious travelers or anyone who needs a cozy place to stay. They have standard amenities that are provided in the Classic guest rooms.
